OPG | SuperSantoro has done it again, taking first place at UNCONQUERED and closing out another season of competitive fighting game action in Malta.
The City Of Fighters event once again delivered a competitive bracket packed with surprises and upsets, but SuperSantoro ultimately emerged on top.

Another unpredictable season
City Of Fighters described UNCONQUERED as a season where upsets and surprises became routine, with the competitive landscape becoming more unpredictable than ever.
That unpredictability has become one of the defining features of Malta’s growing fighting game scene, with established players being challenged by an increasingly competitive field.
Despite the chaos throughout the bracket, however, the top spot once again belonged to SuperSantoro.
FIGHTING FORTRESS is next
The action isn’t stopping here.
With UNCONQUERED now wrapped up, City Of Fighters has already announced FIGHTING FORTRESS as the next event for Malta’s fighting game community.
The event is supported by GamingMalta as part of its commitment to supporting Malta’s grassroots esports community, alongside Level Academy, Rupture, Immerse, Agius Brothers Co. Ltd., B Resin Malta, New Madras Indian Restaurant and the Malta Esports Association.
If UNCONQUERED is anything to go by, FIGHTING FORTRESS could bring another round of unexpected results — and another chance for someone to finally knock SuperSantoro off the top.
