Aaron Debattista has made it two wins from two rounds in the GT3 category of the Malta National Sim Racing Championships 2026.

The second round, held at Imola, produced a dramatic 30-minute battle at the front. Dean Vella led the majority of the race after making his move at Tamburello on the opening lap, but Debattista stayed within striking distance.

With just seven laps remaining, Debattista reclaimed the lead and held on to take victory by just 1.2 seconds.

Jake Sammut completed the podium, with the top three separated by only 2.3 seconds at the chequered flag.

With two rounds completed, Debattista has established himself as the early man to beat in the GT3 championship.
