After months of competition, the UNCONQUERED Tekken 8 season is set to reach its conclusion this Sunday, with Malta’s top players preparing to battle for the championship title.

The UNCONQUERED Main Event will take place on Sunday, 30 August 2026, at Level Academy in Ħamrun, bringing together the players who secured their place through the season’s six qualifier sessions and the final Last Chance Qualifier.

With the qualification stage now complete, there are no more opportunities to fight back. The remaining players will enter the final bracket knowing that their next set of matches could determine who walks away as the UNCONQUERED Season Champion.

The Main Event will be played on Tekken 8 under a TWT 2026 Dojo Double Elimination format, giving competitors a final opportunity to prove themselves after a season of local competition.

More Than Just a Championship

While the tournament itself is reserved for qualified players, the event will be open to spectators and members of the wider fighting game community.

Fans can head to Level Academy to watch the action in person, meet fellow players and supporters, and take part in casual Tekken matches throughout the event.

There is also a significant prize waiting for the eventual champion.

The UNCONQUERED Season Champion will receive up to €500 towards travel and accommodation expenses to compete at INVICTUS in Turin, Italy, adding an international opportunity to the stakes of Sunday’s final.

For the players who have spent the season fighting through qualifiers, the Main Event represents the culmination of months of competition. For everyone else, it offers a chance to see Malta’s Tekken community come together for the final chapter of the season.

One Final Bracket

Six regular-season qualifiers and a Last Chance Qualifier have reduced the field to the players who will now compete for the title.

The question is no longer who can qualify.

It is who can survive.

With the season championship, international opportunity and bragging rights on the line, Sunday’s Main Event promises to be the biggest test yet for Malta’s Tekken 8 competitors.

The UNCONQUERED Main Event takes place on 30 August at Level Academy, Liceo Ħamrun.

The tournament will also be broadcast live on the City of Fighters Twitch channel for those unable to attend in person.
